Dear MSC College
At first I was a bit sceptical about studying at MSC College – Uitenhage, but when I first walked through the door my mind changed completely. I was immediately referred to a student advisor who asked me about my goals and dreams. I was so shocked because in most institutions nobody really cares about you. I then decided that HR Management would be the course for me.
MSC College has helped me realise my true potential, potential I never thought existed. It grooms you for the world outside and does not only concentrate on theory. The classes are small, giving students the opportunity to get the necessary attention that they deserve. My pass rate escalated very quickly, from a 78% average in Labour Relations to a massive 96% for Skills Development. Now most people might think that this is too good to be true but believe me its real!!! The graduation ceremony was by far the best graduation ever!!!
Because of MSC, I am now working as a Human Resources Administrator and Producer at Cape Town TV, which is a television station in Cape Town. I don’t think I would have done it without MSC.
My advice to prospective students would be not to think twice about MSC College and to fulfil their dreams in what ever they want to achieve.
THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!!!!!

Dear MSC College
As a young teacher in secondary education, I joined MSC College as a part time learner in 1994. I was 26 years old and very afraid of the unknown. On the day I visited my local MSC branch, I was shy and filled with apprehension and fear. I did not know what to expect and neither did I know what to study. All I knew was that I wanted to study. I knew nothing about computers and I feared that I could not do anything because I could not type.
Fact is, I registered. I did not end up doing and completing the same course I registered for as I changed my mind once and ended up doing a Financial Diploma. It was in the second year of my studies that I started thinking that I could also run a college like MSC. I completed my studies with MSC in 2006, resigned as a secondary school teacher after six years and in January 2007 I opened my own college in Olifantsfontein. Although the group that I belonged to was independent from the MSC group, it was very similar. In 2003 our group joined the MSC group and my college became an official MSC College, situated in Midrand. It felt good that I now belonged to the group where I completed my diploma training.
Being acquainted with MSC Colleges since the early years I can testify for the changes and development that have taken place. I am proud that I was and am part of a group that passionately believes in dynamic growth, continuous improvement and development, complying with rules and regulations of the industry, investing in the youth and always looking for innovative ways to bring better quality education to the minds of our learners. Most of all, it is very important to me to know that I am part of a group that is registered and accredited at the right institutions or organizations and which upholds the principles of honesty and integrity.
I have been running my own business for 14 years now. Although I studied at university and completed two degrees and a higher education diploma, it was really my diploma studies at MSC that gave me the confidence to enter the world of business. It was the interaction with the staff and students that helped me define my place in the South African business community and opened my eyes to new possibilities. It was MSC that developed my confidence and provided me with a platform for a new career in which I could run my own business but also continue my passion for education. I would not be where I am today, helping to expand the minds of young people, if it was not for that fortunate day that I chose to make an enquiry at my local MSC branch.
I have learned that studying is a life long journey, always seeking to improve one self and those around you. It is because of this MSC passion for expanding our minds and those of the learners that I have enrolled for a Post Graduate Diploma in Management in 2008 at a university. Again, I was afraid of the demands of studying whilst running a business, but I have learned that fear is the only obstacle that prevents us from reaching our dreams. My dream is to run a good educational institution by enriching the lives of our learners. I have learned that by having a dream and pursuing it, by seeing the possibilities of education, I got focused and was able to concentrate on the end result. I am proud to say that I graduated for this diploma in June 2010. I have learned that by taking the first step, making the enquiry, could change the course of one’s entire life. I would not have been the director and principal of MSC College Midrand today if I did not take that small but very important step one day in 2006…of entering the door of a local MSC College and asking for information…

Dear MSC Business College
My very first experience at MSC Business College Uitenhage was great!
The first day I walked through the passages, I felt the warmth of the staff and the excitement in the atmosphere.
The thing that impressed me the most was the approachable and knowledgeable staff. We were only a group of 10 students in each class and that gave me even more confidence, because we got one on one attention from the lecturers which made it very easy to grasp concepts and use it in a practical way. I did Computer Software Skills and, at first I was a bit sceptical, but when I started with my course I was immediately at ease; that is how the lecturers make you feel! Now I am able to use the necessary skills and knowledge to take on any situation.
I am working at Eskom, in the Revenue & Credit Management Department. One would think with my course of study I would not have been able to work in such an environment, but because of my field of study I now create graphs, presentations and so forth for my manager. He is always pleased with what I come up with and that was what I was hoping for, to use my skills and competencies that I have gained from MSC Business College.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank MSC Business College Uitenhage and all the staff for the opportunity they gave me. I would highly recommend anyone young or old to study at MSC Business College, It will be the best thing you can do for yourself.
Kind Regards

Dear MSC Business College
Where do I start… there’s a lot I can say about my two years I have been at the college; from the helpful PA when you walk into the building, the loving and caring personality of the lecturers to the friendly students in class.
I was at a stage in my life where I felt lost, confused and unsure about what and who I want to become in life. That changed almost immediately when I decided to enrol at MSC Business College. My course of choice was Travel & Tourism which later became a real love and passion of mine, all thanks to Mrs Ann Burket. Her general passion, view and range of knowledge on life and the course in particular left me in awe.
With regards to the college, we were only a few students in class at a time which made it easier for lecturers to focus on us individually.
Just 8 months after my graduation I agreed to move to Joburg to begin my internship at Merseta. Merseta have branches all over the country, but only the one in Joburg has a travel desk – that’s how blessed I am today. All thanks to my experience at MSC Business College. May God bless you all and grant you the strength and health to keep changing lives.
