Purpose of this Qualification:

The qualification is designed to address the need for enhanced additional information for Educators, Lay Counselors, Nurses, those in Human Resources as well as managers in understanding the HIV/AIDS pandemic and the impact it has on individuals, families and the dynamics in the workplace. The modules in this qualification cover general information and focus on equipping the learner with the necessary skills to provide support and develop interventions in the fields of training, counseling, nutrition and general care.

• Grade 12 or Equivalent
